I don't dislike them, but they really don't do much for me. I tried to give them a shot because I figured Butch Vig wouldn't lead me astray, but I couldn't get into them. Even sampling "Train In Vain" by The Clash couldn't make me like Stupid Girl.
I was in high school when their debut album came out, and I must have heard Stupid Girl and Only Happy When It Rains a million times on the radio. And to be honest, that was about the last I heard of them, besides that Bond theme song they did. Which didn't impress me either. I think '95-'96 was the extent of their popularity around here.

Like NoCode, I remember them from my school days, Stupid Girl and Only Happy When It Rains being as it went for me, too. Good tracks, IMO, but so 1990's
