Favourite christmas song? Easy to answer!: Keith: Run Rudolph Run, Mick and Joss Stone: Lonely Without You (This Christmas). The last one is something like Led Zep's Trampled Under Foot was called: The No. 1 single that never was released...

A lot of people like the "original versions" recorded by the stars of the 50's and 60's. Even my teen daughters like those versions the best.

They also like Mariah Carey's Christmas music but I cringe at her singing style with all that moaning and yelping she does.

Who likes that TransSiberian Orchestra stuff? They just did their annual show here in Buffalo a couple days ago.

My two favorites are Elvis' Holly Leaves and Alan Jackson's Let It Be Christmas.

This is my X-mas favourite these days (would like to take part to Bobby's party as well - reminds me of what we call here in Finland as "pikku joulu" ["little Chritmas"] that is pre-Christmas party organized by any social instance, such as companies, universities, bars etc. to their workers/personnel/regulars, etc. that usually has the idea to drink as much as possible and misbehave... I already have had few by now...):

It's a week before Christmas and we don't have a favorite Christmas song thread? Where's the spirit?

It´s Ivan on guitar and Johnnie Johnson on the piano.
Thanks, never seen it.

Ditto. That's Christmas to me. Nat King Cole's "Christmas Song" is still the best ever. I don't know why people bother to remake this stuff, its useless.
The holidays are nostalgic for me and so the old stuff just fits.
