On the other hand... it is can be a good idea to block out negative images associated with a good song, so as not to ruin that song... aka- If I never see lady Frankentstein do this song, I will be A-OK with that.

She'll be entertaining I'm sure. I just hope she has the pipes for it!

Mary J. Blige was wonderful, Florene thingy reminded me of a pasty-faced art school student - and Ga Ga? Lord Knows! I'm sure she'll entertain and wear something interesting, but vocally? Gimme Shelter requires some soul. Alicia Keys would have been a grand choice.

LADY GAGA had a chat to MICK JAGGER this week – while soaking in her bathtub.

Thankfully for Mick he wasn’t perched on her bidet during the conversation.

He was on the phone, after calling to discuss her collaboration with the
ROLLING STONES during their gig in New Jersey this weekend.

A source said: “Gaga didn’t want to miss Mick’s call so she took it in the bath.

“They spoke at length about what’s going to happen.

“She also asked Mick if she could wear any of his old stage gear for their performance.”

revvvvy, if this is true, then you should question why you are even paying attention to The Stones, if you are being honest, then it is probably time for you to move on, and pay full attention to that one girl you like so much. Why would you contiune to be dissappointed with The Stones?

If you are not happy with what you have seen in these recent shows, dont you realize that it will not get better, and you will never be happy, unless it makes you happy to just complain all the time?

I am no longer saying they are not playing well, I think Keith has improved
dramatically. So I am NOT complaining. I may be generally uninterested in
their music at the moment, even if reasonably well played, but I am still
very interested in THEM for other than musical reasons. Hence my fascination
with the guests and the WWE PPV etc.

How's it going to end?

come on man, people have been boringly been predicting
the demise, the end of the Stones and esp Keith for 35 years,
this is not exactly trail blazing activity. Pessimistic people who have been hoping
wishing waiting for the end of The Stones, at any moment, may still be in for a long long wait.

How many stupid ass acts like KISS, The Eagles and The Who have done
multiple "FAREWELL TOURS" while the Stones just keep on keeping on.


It may be time to do my project.... I have 50-60-100(?) Stones books.
I have NOT read them all in full, but I have read the last page of
all them. Now mind you I have not obtained a new Stones in 10-15 years,
so they are all old and going back 30-40 years... and it is always interesting
/odd/funny/stupid to read what the author of a book has to say about what it
to come next next, and my project is to make a book out of the final page of each of the books....

They all say what you said about the end... and have been saying it for 40 years.....

Have seat... it may be a while to "see how it ends".

I might even be willing to bet that your girl rishuana,
and even lady gaggag, flame out / go away, before The Stones do.

NOT everybody.... not every one is in such a hurry to be somewhere..... not everyone is in such a hurry to see the next new thing, the next AI crap fest winner..... the next new pretty face to be overly produced and packaged to be pumped and dumped and shoved down the throats of music buyers.... some of us have long lomng attention spans.

max, i already changed the tom waits thing to, "how long is this thing gonna
go on?" and i changed it before you even started your rant.

as for her, she could definitely flame out. she is crazy, and she knows it.
she says it on the new album "I live in the moment, I'm ready to die in the moment".
but luckily its still three years til she's eligible for club 27.

For once (and I don't believe I'm saying this) I'm in agreement with superrevvy - I want to see, not "how it ends" but "what happens next".

But I do hope that What Happens Next doesn't involve La Gaga in the sort of wardrobe malfunction that gets the PPV taken off the air!
