From what I understood, the guy has struggled financially. Do you think his participation in these shows will get him a nice payoff? Perhaps he's worth "ten seats" as Mick said a hundred thousand pound fine was worth.

I dont know what he'll get paid for those 2 nights, but I'm sure he'll be happy with it.
Maybe playing with them again is worth more than money?

Taylor was the highlight of both gigs. I agree it has raised his profile. I can't make tonight (three gigs in a week wouldn't go down well with the girlfriend!) but I hope to see him next time around.

That piece on Mick is old and has been discussed here in the past. I think it is not entirely accurate and Mick has been doing alot of things since it was (poorly) written. peace

I really hope so. Really hard to read about him struggling to get needed dental work. The reviews of his playing have been so positive - if the Stones decide to tour next year, it would be a wise decision to include him, to increase ticket sales in these difficult economic times.
