Do you think Mick Taylor should be invited on the next world tour as a guest?

Yes. Definitely.

No, he should be invited as a member of the band.

He could easily be accommodated as a side man like Bobby Keys, and play for four tunes a night. I'm sure he wouldnt be too expensive to hire, and Ronnie has no ego, so would be cool about it. it's a no brainer.

Ronnie has no ego, but Keith does.

Yes, and Bill Wyman should be invited too. The Rolling Stones should do their next (maybe farewell) tour as a 6-piece-band!

Yes, by all means. They should consider hiring Taylor for some sort of role. He has a glorious history with the band.

Cant be hired as a sideman because the thats the Stones admitting hes important, and that takes the spotlight off them. I know its not exactly like this, but it could be construed as a way of saying "we need this guy back to be better." It just makes them look like they're missing something, and like they have been since 75, whether its true or not.

Also, all the hardcores would focus on his spot in the show and then want him to play more or the whole show. Once again, the highlight of the show is on Mick T and not on Mick J.

He could easily be hired as a sideman.
Outside of this board full of diehards, most people don't know of him and his full story with the band.

Crowds everywhere would love it if he showed up for two or three songs.
Frankly, we don't need him for more than that.
Let's let him keep the illusion!

A Bobby Keyes role would be interesting...and unusual but then like Keith says they're the Stones so they can do whatever they want. Guys are getting old, they're mellowing out, they'll take him along for the ride if he's game for it.

Taylor certainly brims with confidence to take the stage like he did on Sunday, who would have thunk!
