I-Tune$ and the $TONE$
Posted by: Honestman ()

Am I the only one to think here that the deal between the Stones and I-Tune$ sucks.
Could you imagine a next album on I-Tune$$ only ?
Some unreleased versions already showed up on I-Tune$$$ and fortunately I have some good friends to get them winking smiley
Maybe I'm already too old, or just need to cool off a bit, but yes I would like one day that everything could be available for everyone that's all.
They do a Stones App, and what about for those who don't own one 899 € I-Phone 5???
I guess it goes in the same way that the overpriced tickets...sadly.

They already did this with Google music and their archive series.

Go Dawgs!

Not sure that ages for you means the same thing for me .
The first time that I've heard about a special track only available on I-tunes was for KR re-release of Run Rudloph Run in 2007 and soon after for Exile in 2010, and my point here is to say that the fact that some tracks are only available on I-tUnes sucks, do you get it , or should I elaborate ???

And in a perfect world they'd give us everything for free. I'm not going to defend the ticket prices, but I'm not really sure I see the point of the rest. I don't think the Stones app really provides you with anything you couldn't find elsewhere on the internet, it mainly just serves as a platform for people to buy "$tone$" music from "iTune$", which you don't seem to want to do, so why do you want it?

Plus, you don't have to have the latest and most expensive i-Phone to use it. Any i-Phone, iPod Touch or iPad. You just have to make sure your software is up to date, but that doesn't mean the latest phones.

The bottom line is, some people are going to have things you don't. Unless you want to pay for it. I cancelled HBO not long ago, so I didn't get to see Crossfire Hurricane and won't until it comes out on DVD. But I don't blame HBO or The Stones for that, I have the option to have HBO if I want. I chose not to, and it would be silly for me to be upset that people with HBO get something I don't. That's why they pay for it.

Some things in this world are privileges and not rights. People that buy things are going to get benefits, or else they wouldn't part with their money. If you want the Stones App, get an i-Phone.

Not sure...but let's try to elaborate.
I don't give a shit of an I-phone, or an App, I like the Stones for their music,
and I think it's just a pain to can't get the special track(s)if there is some, out of I-Tunes that's all.

I was not being sarcastic, I truly missed the news of an unreleased stones track available only on itunes.

Is there one?

What songs can you buy on itunes that you can't buy elsewhere?

This isn't about being too mean to buy an I-Phone. It's about being able to listen to the Rolling Stones' latest release without having to become tied in to the almighty I-empire. I have a perfectly good mobile device - but it runs Android. I'm not about to buy an I-device as well.

Exclusive could also just mean that people with the app get it first. Just like the Stones Archive were a "Google Play Exclusive", didn't mean that having Google Play was the only way to get it.
