I hate live concerts. Seriously. The way I enjoy the Stones today is strictly through my 60" TV screen! No hassles and a bathroom and cooler just a few feet away!

The last Stones concert I attended sucked. Lousy sound. Of course it was in a stadium.

Ticket prices are no longer an issue with me. Not that they ever were. Transportation is no longer an issue. Always was. Hotel prices and expenses are no longer an issue. I save a ton of money.

The Stones coming to PPV on December 15 is a dream come true. For less than $50.00 the Rolling Stones perform for me right in the comfort of my own living room. It doesn't get any better. And the sound is ten times better than what you hear at a stinking concert!

it's a wonder why anyone would EVER go to a concert.

You make some good points but seeing a concert live in person is best.

I was at a live concert Friday night.

Had me a good ole time.

I view the coming PPV concert as the Stones gift to me. Thanks Mick for looking after your elderly fans. Lot's of us out there these days.

When I was young I probably thought it was better. Long before big screen televisions and headphones were invented. Now that I am old I much prefer the comfort of my own living room. Lot's of Stones fans in their sixties, seventies, and even eighties these days.

In a perfect world a live concert is ideal but these days there is such a discrepancy between live concert and PPV prices. Now it will probably cost somebody more to watch The Stones on PPV than it did to watch them live on the Voodoo Lounge tour.

Yeah, it will much better - it will be transmitted with a short delay, so Blondie and Pierre can sit behind stage and fill in some missing guitar.

Live concerts are for kids in their teens, twenties, thirties, forties, and fifties. If you know what I mean.

At least with a concert you know it will last for awhile. When you order a boxing match on PPV it could be over in the first round.

I very much enjoy the communial experience of a live show; Interacting with friends and others in attendance and the sonic blast and energy from the stage are great fun. And as almost all the shows I go to are not televised or streamed I realy don't have a choice...

To make the poverty work the stones better do a massive media blitz on how to purchase ppv. I have no clue hoe to find it. Will it only be on comcast charter dish? Online? I have no clue how to find it in my area. If they don't they will miss the mark for sure.

Best nights of my life were spent at rock concerts. I never got tired of that feeling of excitement and adrenaline, the days leading up to the gig and anticipation of being in the same place as your heroes.

There's something so uniquely special and life-affirming as being around your people, hundreds or even thousands of people with a shared interest and the same enthusiasm as you. The shared energy and passion of a united audience all building up to a massive crescendo when the band hits the stage. It can be a euphoric mental and physical experience that stays with you forever.

Watching a gig on TV? Not so much.

The PPV will tell me whether to bother seeing them live.
