Don't know if anyone here is a fan of Joanne Shaw Taylor. Just released her third album. Young English woman, now based in the USA. IMO she excels in a live setting and is a nice blues guitarslinger. Check her out if you've ever enjoyed listening to SRV.

She's very good indeed. Never seen her 'live', though.

one of the best I have heard......Saw her live in a small blues club in Vancouver Canada, rare apperance.
didn't hurt that she is gorgeous as well. played a 2 1/2 hr show.

If anybody gets a chance to see her run and dont walk, before tickets become expensive

Last night was gig #3 for me, Gazza. Feel her writing is maturing, but the mainstay of her live act is still sizzling fretwork. Nice woman too. Some may find her easy on the eye (e.g., my mate Bill). Seriously, though, worth catching if you get the chance - and less than a good second hand car's worth for the ticket.
