Hell, he was prescient enough to get off the Stones as is hurtled to nowhere new in the 90s and onward. Once and always a Stone Alone. (and with a birthday next week).
That's just it--the fear of flying bit was just an excuse to cover up his real reasons for leaving the Stones.
The special guests are solely for the special gigs, and likely only in London. In a longer tour in 2013, it will be more run of the mill with opening acts. Any special guests would be flavor of the year celebs.

Depends on what they'll pay him. He does have a castle to maintain, after all.

Purely speculative, of course, but i was wondering whther the gap between the end of the O2 shows and those in New Jersey has anything to do with giving Bill enough time to sail across the Atlantic ! lol

I just checked and there aren't any commercial cruises that would be a possibility between the UK & US dates. He should just get over it and fly!

I don't see Bill getting on a plane for these NJ shows. Knowing Mick and his need to stay hip, he might just have Bill perform with them via Skype.

I know he does not make a habbit of flying but i think this may be big enough to persuade him to fly again thats all, or he may just settle for the london gigs then, its just that the ppv would be the one to do it at IMO

I dont know i just have a feeling the ppv will feature wyman, hes already shown that he will fly since he said he wouldnt anymore even though it was only the one time which proves it is doable

They were going to use that strategy, but found it is impossible to tell when his knocked out and when he is awake, because he always just stands there, seemingly alseep.... except of course for the occasional metal detector beeping.... but even then, sometimes he is actually sleeping... beep beep.Quote
