Python Boots + Hair Length = Late '68
Jones looks in a particularly bad way here but at least he turned up.
Funny it's spelled "Richard" ... prolly a lazy editor at work again.

Wasn't it still Richard at that point? At what point was it repluralized?

After they realized he was no longer being confused for Cliff Richard

Following 2 pictures by Tony Sanchez from his book Up and Down With The Rolling Stones. Anyone know the approximate date and what session it might be? Looks like either 1967 or 1968.

I thought the issue was Richard Burton.
Now I'm confused.

In the opening credits to the movie Gimme Shelter (at 5:02), released in '70, he was listed as Keith Richard.

My copy is from 1979/1980 when it first came out (First Edition).
ISBN 0-688-03515-9
ISBN 0-688-08515-6 pbk.
Only the first 2 in the original post are in the book (page 21 which is actually 4 photos and page 81 the one with Brian). The other 3 are not.

OK thanks. Here are 3 more photos by either Tony or Ethan Russell
This is the building where the Stones basement rehearsal space (Bermondsey Street, London) where these pictures were taken. It seems they also used it to store their equipment. Don't know the exact dates they owned it (maybe late 60's into the early 70's?). Other groups also used it including the Faces, Jeff Beck and Jethro Tull.
This is what Kenny Jones said:
"When the Stones bought Bermondsey Street, Stu was invaluable to us. Steve Marriott had left the band, so myself, Ronnie Lane and Mac used to get together once a week to play. We didn’t have anywhere to go, so Stu said, ‘Well, just use the studio downstairs,’ which was basically just a basement and a storage area for all the Stones gear."

This building is The Stage House, number 47 if I am right, second building to the right of the corner building.

Crikey I walk past this building every day on my way to work....
Is there some kind of guide to famous Stones locations online anywhere? I only recently found out I live near Brian's old house (courtesy of this board)! Would love to visit some more locations.
