I don't care. We all have these songs in our collections many, many times over.

Please DON'T put Emotional freakin' Rescue on it, ugh

Yeah, that's kind of my feeling. It might not be in the spirit of the thread, but I for one am only buying it because of the new material (not that I have high expectations) and whatever songs they compile I could really care less about. It's a greatest hits, not a rarities collection or something. So like the esteemed Captain Kirk said, we already have them. Greatest hits are designed for casual fans who don't own every album, and the inclusion of new material on a greatest hits is an old trick (the first I personally remember doing this is Tom Petty in '93) to get the established fan base to purchase something they already own. Not that I really mind all that much, or blame bands for doing that.

Its two songs. Just wait till you can DL them. I'm sure there will be a way.

That is a thought, but if the new tracks are included on the cheapest version of the album I'll buy it, I won't spend $160 or whatever for the box set though. I don't mind paying for a band's product, even if it is 90% redundant. There is something on there I want, so I'll buy it. The cheaper version that is.

You know Emotional Rescue is part of the greatest hits set list requirement for a greatest hits album. That and Fool To Cry.

Jumpin' Jack Flash
Street Fighting Man
Gimme Shelter
Brown Sugar
Tumbling Dice

In terms of being conservative and what to expect from the Stones? Which means playing it safe, of course. Those five are must haves. I'd put Bitch and Rocks Off on there as well but Tumbling Dice is the bigger of those.
