What ever happened with this canceled gig? I read they had "plane issues" but it all sounds kind of weird. I mean the stage would have already been up and I am sure the boys could have made it to the gig. It was all so last minute and I still kind of find it odd. Anybody?

Bangkok (dpa) Die Rolling Stones werden bei ihrer Asien-Tournee weiter vom Pech
verfolgt. Die Band musste ihren Auftritt in Bangkok absagen: Wegen technischer
Probleme saß das Flugzeug, das die Ausrüstung geladen hatte, in Bombay fest. Aus
Angst vor der grassierenden Lungenkrankheit SARS hatten die Stones bereits ihre
Auftritte in Peking, Schanghai und Hongkong abgesagt. Wie es vom Veranstalter
heißt, soll der Auftritt in Bangkok so bald wie möglich nachgeholt werden.
