Hey people cool out : I use Abebooks on a regular basis and it's a bookseller wet dream :
in other words it's the place where anyone can drop the books they found in grandpa's attic and ask an extortionate price for it. But it doesn't mean books will sell at that price.

4000$? It could have been 8000 or 10000! That's how Abebooks works : onanism prevails there.

I suppose you can make an offer. I have been really happy with everything I have gotten from Abe booksellers; good prices, cheap shipping, and most important, accurate descriptions of condition. Very different from the amateurs on Ebay.
