Right. But where the Stones and anniversaries are concerned, dates are only numbers to be interpreted as seen fit by the user.

Peace,
Mr DJA

The Blushing Brides are a good Stones tribute band

Yes, the Brides are really great! Maurice Raymond, aka Mick, is a sweet guy...they're Canadian, I believe. The Cove is in what Massachusetts town?

This is sickening. I read "30 years ago since..." and expect to see some poster for 1971. Time flies when you get older. 30 f-ckin years.

Even more so when you consider that 1971 was actually 41 years ago, not 30...!

Forgive me if somebody has already mentioned this, but here are some details/answers to questions posted in this threat:

1.) Sir Morgan's Cove is still in existance, but has since changed its name to "Lucky Dog Music Hall."

2.) Lucky Dog Music Hall is located in Worcester, MA

3.) Even though a PLETHORA of legends have played Lucky Dog both before and since, that night in 1981 is still celebrated by the club as the highlight of its existance, and rightfully so. You can bet your bottom dollar that Lucky Dog will be going FULL THROTLE in celebration

4.) Given that the band played there in 1981, I don't know why they're calling this the 30th Anniversery of the Stones gig, when the actual anniversary was last year!

5.) In all of New England, there is no better place to catch a club show than Worcester. The good people of that city are one of the very few left that knows what it means to rock out.If anyone wishes to attend this show, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

6.) This is truly the Holy Grail of lost Stones shows--given the unknown/incomplete setlist. Of the few people I know who were at that gig, they said that contrary to what it says on sites like Rocks off And Nico's page, the Stones played both "Gimme Shelter" and "Midnight Rambler." Obviously, both songs appear totally out of place in the 1981 set, but my friends don't care---they insist the band played them.
