one thing hardcore fans do,and i've noticed myself doing it from time to time is forgetting just how gigantic the stones actually are.
you might be suprised how well most people know the band.remember when you were at a show and the great cheers ronnie and charlie got,those are not small audiences.

What happens on a show like that is his people send background material to a producer on the show, then an intern takes their 5 page bio and boils it down to a one-page summary. (These people do multiple segments on various topics every day--they can't be expected to be an expert on everything! )
She gets points for calling the band "Faces" instead of "The Faces." That subtle distinction indicates she did do some homework. Made me wonder if that was a bullet point that was emphasized by his publicist.

For those of you who might be curious, Ronnie Wood is going to be on LIVE With Kelly this morning on TV at 9 AM. I suppose he is going to promote his art work as it is currently on display this week in New York.

Just saw the show. It's a shame he wasn't given more than a few minutes of airtime. He looked pretty good and healthy for his age; claimed he's 3 years sober. Interesting that no questions were asked about any possible plans regarding the Stones 50th. Getting less and less optimistic that we'll get a tour or anything..and who knows what's going on with keith, his so-called health issues, or his ability to perform. Sad Sad Sad...

Ronnie was awesome..... again.
Very articulate, funny..... came out Keith style smoking... then stuck the cig in his pocket (it is one of those fake ones).... He talked about not smoking the real ones anymore... he talked about 3 years sober.... talked about the new Faces book.... talked about his ambition and drive be a rock star, right place / right time. He said he will be in the states for another month.... so if we are lucky maybe we will get to see him do more interviews. I did not expect him to say a word about the Stones, Ronnie is not the spokesman for the Stones.
He was there to sell the new Faces book, and he did a great job of that.

Thanks for the Youtube clip, Lien! Some observations:

- What about those giant stools?
- Is Kelly, as many American women, a false blonde?
- Why is it accepted in The U.S. that journalists sell products on the shows? In Sweden that is called corruption and we have firm laws against that.
- Ronnie looks in good form. The fact that he is trying to quit smoking is a good sign.

Kelly Rippa is not a journalist, she's an entertainer that does interviews. Live w/ Kelly is not a news show, its a day time talk show, the whole purpose of which is to have guests on to promote their upcoming projects. She's no more of a journalist than Dave Letterman or Conan O'Brian are.

At times he is making a fool of himself. The way he enters the studio is ridiculous. He seems to suffer from a profile neurosis.
