According to a web site dedicated to the actual band behind the record, the lead vocalist appears to have been Allen Chance Silverman a.k.a. Allen Chance a.k.a. Al Silverman a.k.a. Slim Chance.
And BTW, the band was closely connected to none other than the legendary Country Joe and the Fish.
