Boardwalk Empire's Terence Winter has written a script that HBO is currently very interested in turning into a series, reports Deadline. And Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger have apparently met with HBO execs about developing it.

The script is an hour-long drama about "the exploits of a cocaine-fueled record executive in New York City circa 1977, when punk, disco and a new form of music called hip-hop collided."

The project will serve as a reunion for Scorsese, Jagger and Jagger's producing partner Victora Pearman since the three collaborated on 2008's Shine a Light.
