Steven loves the Stones. Why not? I think he would make a great addition to the band.

What a dumb thread, you write as you think they will go on for 50 more years, face the fact, they wont do any more full scale tours! Concerning Steve Van Zandt, he would be one of the worse additions to the band that i could think of and he wouldn´t fit in any kind of way. SVZ plays folkrock with Bruce & e-street, he don´t play bluesrock, it´s another thing and he would ruin the stones sound completely.

Stevie is a student of the Stones. He would make a fantastic addition. Of course they won't go on for another 50 years, but so what.

Ditch Ronnie, and only have van Zandt and Keith as guitarplayers. Change Jagger with Tom Waits and Lou Reed, and change Darryl with Lemmy, and there you have it. Bet Charlie Watts would be pleased

Might as well just turn Bruce's mic off altogether. It's painful (truly uncomfortable) watching him grunting and straining to get the words out. I still admire his passion. He really and truly is giving it his all. Everything about his performance is to be admired except for his voice.

But Bruce doesn't have the right image, Rockman. He's smiling too much! I think this should be a smile-free band

Hmmmm....I'll say yes to that suggestion. Not much of a background vocalist, but....what the heck. Now that we have this thing settled, could somebody please email me the phone number to Jagger? I gotta tell him about the plan, and see if he approves

Imagine how painful it is for Bruce, been trying to pass one for years now.

Lofgren wanted to audition for the Stones anyway as Taylor had left.
So we'll have them all on that stage soon . .
