Why was Keith pissed off during the Whip Comes Down. He gives a dirty look and said something to Mick.

I always wondered if Mick's playing was too loud for him?

I noticed that to but the look on his face is frighting, Can you believe that concert was 9 years and 2 days ago already. It feels like that was just yesterday

I just watched it again and love the third disc. The venue, sound and filming is better than the MSG show.

I seem to recall Mick saying something to Keith and then Keith looking royally pissed at whatever was said. Isn't he looking at Charlie with a kind of 'i-can't-believe-this-guy' kind of look.

Friday night show was superior to the HBO Saturday telecast.

I am still wondering about that time in "68 when I think Bill looked at Charlie in a weird way.

You can sort of see Keith scream towards Mick, the word "loud" so yeah that's the reason he was pissed. This was apparently one of a few spats they had on the Bstage. They had an exchange of words at one of the January 2003 Chicago shows...not sure if it was about the volume again.

Wouldn't it be the soundman and not Mick controlling that? The volume knob on a guitar is only going to influence the overall volume so much.

Well either Mick turned up the amp himself or directed the guitar technicians to put it at a certain level.

And, I do recall now that the Chicago spat was indeed over the amps...at one point, Keith sneaks over to Mick's amp, looks at it, and then fiddles the nobs...probably the volume. A few minutes later, Mick comes over to his amp, and pushes the nobs..with his foot. Practically kicking it up to whatever level he wanted. Mick and Keith almost run into each other at the start of "Like a Rolling Stone"...almost like a scene from the "One Hit To The Body" video...Keith and Mick sort of antganozing each other. Kind of awkward to watch.
