Well, I was planning on resurrecting with some more rare pix....just have been busy.
Doesn't seem there are that many that actually collect vinyl out there...a dying craft perhaps?
That's always my initial reaction, but then when I see a stack of 10 of them my blood pressure increases and as i sort through them one by one to see which is the best numbered copy (is it 3042, 3043, 3044....) I mentally calculate how much it would be for the lot, convince myself I can always sell some on EBAY (and never do), and am left with what one day will be the world's only Rolling Stones record store.
Tell you what . I'll do my legwork here in Massachusetts and see if I can get some copies and you do the same and if either of us comes up empty perhaps we can sell one copy to the poor sap who fails to score . >

I'm reminded of 4 in the morning every time my 4-year-old has a nightmare....too often!
Was it held up at customs as an homage to Keith's drug bust of '77?
If so, this whole Some Girls thing is really in the spirit of the time!
I got a similar story from my indie store here in D.C. They said it "didn't ship in time" but would be in by Tuesday or Wednesday.
I was able to get everything else on my BFRSD want list so it wasn't a wasted trip.

Don't kill yourselves running out to the record store to get your copy. While waiting in line I was told that the 45 was held up in customs and would not be available for a week or so . I could not find any info online regarding this but I did find a on line record store that released this information on their site .
