How many pairs do you need? Have you cut back on socks as a result of the economic crisis?

I myself now maintain about 15 pairs down from about 30 at the onset of the economic crisis.

It was another way of rebelling against authority at High School by walking around with our socks pulled down after getting warnings by the teachers all the time to pull them up.smoking smiley

I still often wear my Allstars without socks.
Just wash the allstars now and then...

Socks are one of life's simple pleasures. I love a new good pair of socks. When I travel the world, I don't care if I'm wearing the same clothes three days in a row, but if I can put on a fresh clean pair of socks in the morning, I'm happy.

One of my favorite photos. I think the Roy Carr book mentions that it was taken at Keith's 26th birthday, Dec. 18, 1969, the night they recorded the version of Brown Sugar that has Eric on it.

You had your socks pulled down? Wow. You were really out of control in those days, weren't you?
