Miracle Marv was one of just a few Motown guitarists who was actually a proper band member rather than a session player.
If nothing else he earns a footnote in the history of popular music for that mournful guitar intro to Smokey Robinson and The Miracles wonderful The Tracks Of My Tears. RIP Marv.

He was one of my favorite guitarists, highly underrated.
