I've got a bottle of Rebel Yell in my cabinet right now(it suddenly appeared at the local "specialty store") and yes,it is shorter and stouter than the bottle in that '73 photo-you are correct as always with sssoul

always have a bottle of Rebel Yell on-hand for when I listen to Handsome Girls. That's "Rebel Yell - Southern Sour Mash!"

Tennessee whiskey certainly holds it own and I love the Keef man, but if you're that far South why not cross the border North for some fine Kentucky bourbon? I don't think Keith would mind? And he loves the horses...

You can find Rebel Yell at most Trader Joes stores in California,
at least all the ones I've been to. It's a good, smooth drink.
I prefer George Dickle (No 8), however.
