Since becoming a member here ya' can't help but take in and learn whats going on in other members countries and sometimes if anything in particular takes ya' interest ya' tend to follow it up on the internet or talk about it with mates or something. So what sort of things in other countries or even ya' own have ya' learnt or taken some interest in?

What was the question ?

I think that's actually a pretty deep question. I can definitely say the Stones steered me into new directions all through life so far.
Starting with the Blues; you learn about the music, then the artists. You can not help but investigate the history and roots , and your world opens up a little more.
Same of course happened with reggae music. How can anyone get turned on by the music, but disregard it's political and cultural implications?
Had I been of age, and I saw Jagger marching in a street demonstration would I not have been at the very least intrigued? And sat up? Yes, a man needs to make up his own mind, form his own views, but at some point you are an impressionable kid who is following one of his idols.
What about "The Master and Margerita"? Of course I read it; only because of the Jagger connection.
Why does everyone on the board own a blond 52 Tele model? In Open G? It weren't no music teacher from school.
Probably a lot more.

This is neither here nor there, really, but when I visited Henry VIII's Hampton Court a few years ago—which is in Richmond—I left the Tube station telling the people with me who couldn't have cared less, "My God, The Stones broke through at the Crawdaddy Club in Richmond. And Mick and Jerry lived together in Richmond." ( This was after Jerry kicked Mick out of that house.) And then I went and toured Hampton Court. I don't know what impressed me more, that I was in the midst of Stones history or Henry VIII history!

Hampton Court. Near where the Stones played the Crawdaddy Club and Mick wouldn't leave when Jerry kicked him out.

Through my interest in the Stones, I decided to spend a few months in Morocco, many years ago. That was an education!

OK. What exactly does this mean:

why does'nt the USA just made it easy for everyone and spell some words for an example colour..night etc

The US does spell night as night. I've never known why the u's and s's were dropped or changed to z's (yet alone whatever else is different). Did you mean how come the US doesn't make it easy for people to spell English words in old English instead of American English? I have no idea. To not look British?

That a "head full of snow" means more than being 'beaned' in the noggin' by a snowball.
