You'd have to be on crack to spend that kind of money for this.

These items..... very dangerous to buy. Could be a fake, could be real, who knows!

Sellers info:

I have it from a very good friend, who collects since the sixties, and owns the greatest rarities. For example he has four Schellaks from the Beatles.
This is the first time, that I offer something of his collection on Ebay.
The last single, I sold from him, was Beast of Burden, also from the Stones for 2700 Euro.
The single is not a copy! And it is in a superb condition.

It won't sell at that price --too high and not even a good investment for those only interested in $$$$.

Even if it was the only copy known to exist, that price would be too high

There was a copy that sold on EBAY, about 5-6 years ago, for just over $15000.
I also recall one more recently, say 3 or so years ago, for just over $6000.

I will follow this...interesting if it's real, and even if so, obviously not 'worth' it.

I've got a miniature copy sleeve provided with the CD single set, box 3 from ABKCO.

Kind of makes me happy I bought it!

If they had done the same with the Beast of Burden sleeve in the new CD singles box set from 71 onwards, I might have made that purchase!

Yes, this price is to high!
A near Mint one sold a few weeks ago on Bonham's auctions for $17,800.

Perfecto... I have tons of cool Stones stuff, most of which I paid retail price for (when it was new) and there is an honest sweetness to that, but even as it is I can not display it all, so saddly a lot of it sits protected (although I do make sure to look at all my cool loot (at least) every Christmas(FUN!!)......
so having ""print out the sleeve and fold nicely the sleeve"... is almost the same... except you also can have a BIGbag of cash/money sitting next to it.

Paying the price of a meal for cool Stones stuff is one thing,
paying the price of a nice motorcyle is another... $29,000 for a 45RPM? LMAO

This collecting business must be a bit in vain in the end. Sooner or later you must sell or find someone worthy of inheriting it. To sell it can't be that easy, and, probably, quite a risk financially. And I guess you must have a special insurance just for the collection.

Imagine this $ 30,000 single is a fake. What do you do? Sue?

Asking for that much money and having such broken English in the copy is a touch sloppy. He should have someone better versed in English write the copy just for his own monetary benefit. I'm reminded of the hotel that provided guests with the door knob sign that read, "If you so desire, hang this sign outside your door and the maid will service you."

You are totally right...and I WISH that had occurred to me prior to starting.

As it stands, I'm in up to my nipples!

Paying big bucks for this item has as much to do with being a Stones fan as collecting stamps.

wait a second.... this offering is just for the sleeve?

Isnt that like buying a coat, but only getting a sleeve.... or like buying a shoe and only getting a shoe string... or... OMG!! I might have paid $10.00 or fifteen Dollars for this, but with no record in it?? man... they should just give it away.

I have lots of fun stuff too. Probably most found of the US and UK singles, (US ones with their pic sleeves) I'm missing Street Fighting Man and Beast of Burden (picture sleeves), the two biggies, but I do have Heart of Stone which I definitely didn't overpay for. I also have most of the singles as 'promo' release versions as well, certainly from 1971 onwards, and lots of foreign singles.

All the albums several times over (lots still sealed), MFSL Sticky, The 2002 CD SACD's, the New Vinyl Boxes 62-69 and 71-2005, GYYYO superdeluxe, Exile super deluxe, coloured vinyl, picture disks. Not much in the way of bootlegs (except digitally).

It's mostly music-centric stuff, although I get books and things gifts, (ie, the Mick Jagger doll for Christmas, as a joke gift....is quite gross).
