It's made from Bob Ludwig 2002 remasters. But it's a high definition release. The sound is quite outstanding, particularly for the first albums.

As a huge fan of the first album, a quick query - the versions I have all seem to be in mono; is there a true stereo version of this? (not an SACD as I don't have an SACD player)

These songs were all recorded in mono. There are no stereo mixes, nor will they ever surface.Quote
