- Never seen Ringo

(Ana is great)


- B.B is much older as Ringo - not too much chances to see him again...

I think you have to ask yourself this question: "Of these three, which one am I least likely to ever have another chance to see". Here's a hint: B.B. is eighty-five years old.

Go see Ringo.

BB shows are really sad these days. You may get 9 songs and a ton of talking,

Ringo's current band isn't as strong as other ones, but you still get Johnny WInter and Deringer, which will insure some good rock and roll. ALso, I think Ringo has shook up his regulars a bit... BB is a legend, but also he sits through the entire show and does only play about 9 songs. He still sounds great though! So it is a hard call, but I would go for Ringo.

Saw BB in '87...fantastic show.
With that said, if trainarollin is correct, may not be worth it.

I've seen BB at least 12 times since 1989. His shows started to get questionable around 1999. His health has restricted him to sitting the entire show. As a result he ended up giving a "down home folksy" show full of story telling and viagra jokes. His guitar leads are still solid and his singing is still strong when he wants them to be. The show is about 80 minutes. The first 6-9 minutes BB's band plays and eventually BB comes out.

Some would say (including me at times) he needs to slow down or just stop touring. He will not. Performing is all he knows and loves. Looking forward to each audience is what gets him through. If he stops or takes and extended break his health and spirit will decline.

So with that in mind, if you have never seen him, go once and get the t-shirt, etc. I do think that one would have a better time at a Ringo show if you could only see one of them. More bang for the buck.

I go to see both of them in two weeks. (Actually Ringo plays Prague today - about 100 km from my hometown, but the tickets ase so unbelievably expesive that I chose to skip it and travel to Vienna instead to see him for third of the price).

I have never seen Ringo and I have seen B.B. two years ago. Yes, half music, half talking, but overally great and when I realized he was comming again this year, I didn't hesitate.
