Received this email from Gil Markle and thought I'd pass it along to you guys . spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is an email from Gil Markle. You are receiving it because you have visited www.studiowner.com and/or its "Media Library".
[www.studiowner.com]
As you have figured out, the Studiowner website seeks to celebrate the legacy years of the Long View Farm recording studio, and to make available for listenting and/or download the most interesting archival audio and video files attributable to that era, roughly 1972-1991.
There are thousands of you who are receiving this email. Some of you are world famous; others of you may have recorded a three-tune demo at the studio, but, despite the excellence of the demo, are still known only within a wide circle of friends. Still others of you have no interest in being world famous, but have been reading through the many rock 'n' roll essays in the website, and have responded with remarks and requests for more information about the cultural phenomenon that Long View became for a twenty-year and remarkable period of time.
We're going to do a better job of answering these questions, and putting you in better touch with one another. For a start, there's a new "group" on Facebook called STUDIOWNER.COM Long View Farm which you may want to join. The photos are the big draw here. Many of you are in them. Also, the networking. There are a lot of people here already who you may want to know better. Join the group; post a note.
Next, we're going to be sending out emails like this every month or so, notifying you of recent additions to the website, such as additional archival audio and video tapes that are regularly being brought to our attention, updates on your careers, new and intended releases of your material, and so forth.
If you don't want to receive these emails, opt out using the Unsubscribe button at the bottom of the page. If you've received more than one copy of this message (many of you have multiple "Media Library" logins), opt out of the one(s) you don't want us to use. If you've got friends you'd like to bring into the loop, tell them to sign up for the "Media Library," and they'll receive all subsequent messages.
Best wishes, which are in some cases between twenty and forty years overdue.
gsm@passports.com
Important note: this is not a message from the recording studio, which is contactable in North Brookfield, Massachusetts.
