..or just have to be One more weekend on Bob Dylans New Morning...try to understand what that song has to do on that album...swing-drums...jazz-piano...and they desperately tries to play rock'n'roll...(is it a out-take from Self Portrait maybe,Woogie Boogie from that album also sounds a little like this one)..

Nashville Skyline to, and including, Planet Waves was a bad time for Bob, as far as songwriting goes he suffered from amnesia, and to top that he made some strange choices (as always). But I guess Blood On the Tracks more than made up for all that.

Terrific song. As far as I know, he's never played this live.
Recorded June 3, 1970, the same week Self Portrait was released.
New Morning was not a response to the backlash that Self-Portrait got.
That's bull****. Dylan was, at the time, still recording cover tunes and then sneaking a few originals in at the end of sessions.

Being from Quebec, I would like to offer my sincere apologies to the rest of the world for Celine Dion. Deeply sorry about that...

The whole thread is some crazy choices, but I have to say that Paul Anka doing
Teen Spirit" is just insane. I can not believe that anyone could have thought this a real choice for his show. He is closely following some tele prompter for the words, because they must be like an alien language for his world. Normally I would applaud any kind of remote cover like this; give some knd of props to the artist for stepping off he beaten path, but this is...grotesque.
