I haven't heard the album yet, but I just heard the Dead Flowers on a radio and was rather disappointed - I don't understad why is Mick on this song. I expected it to be a duet, but Mick does just some backing vocal, which is rather down in the mix and to be honest, if I didn't know it was him and just causually heard the song, I would probably not recognize him (can I write it on this board ? :-).
And even knowing it was Mick I think the song would be better without him. Let's face it - Mick is no good for backing vocals. No that was just a joke, I would love him to do it on Happy for Keith on stage again for instance.
So, the song was a disappointment, but I am sure I will get the album, it is the Killer after all...
I think someone had posted something about it. I did not find.
But listening to the album I discovered DEAD FLOWERS with Mick as chrorist !! great Master riff is on Sweet Virginia...and sings too !! Ronnie plays too. The piano part is great...
do we know where and when it was recorded ?
"we know it's a bit late but we hope you don't mind if we stay"
