The most profound punk song of the lot.
This has got to be one of the happiest songs of all time...
That's the truth - thank God for the Rolling Stones, I've said it many times. When I'm really depressed and I hear "Brown Sugar" or "It's Only Rock 'n Roll," I feel like I can breathe again. My theory is that there is so much vital life force embedded in Jagger's voice and/or Keef's guitar that it revives the wretched and makes them want to live again.
This one by Charles Jolly works every time for me. From the glorious era of British Music Hall.
