Yeah, I would love any info on his kids...where are they now? Didn't Brian have many?

There are sites ( I think Chris M maybe) that have sections devoted totally to Stones kids. Brian has four sons. two with same name. 3 of them all look like him but one of them...don't know how that one cam about.

He has one or two daughters also, his first kids in the fifties. But they were adopted away, so they probably don´t know who their father is.

From what I know Brian had three or four kids
within 1-1½ or so around 1960.

At least two books claim there were six kids. Only Mark Julian & Julian Mark (!!??) seem to be widely known about though.

i met one of the julians in 1987 - one one adopted by donnovan [leitch] - nice guy, looked more like mick taylor at the time

i should clarify - that julian i met looked like the mick taylor from the early '70s. shoulder length wavy hair, parted in the middle to some extent. a guy i knew insisted we go over to his hotel room after the donovan show (he thought he was closer to the guy than he was). we woke julian up and he answered the door without a shirt and wearing tight black leather pants.

thanks gazza for the link - i have checked it out in the past - he's barely recognizable, like many of my friends in our age-range.

I met Julian - the musician one who lives in Ireland - at a Brian Jones tribute show at the Marquee, London after it had moved to Charing Cross Road. We smoked a spliff and enjoyed a beer. It was a really, really weird experience as I'd idolised Brian when I was a kid and now I was sitting across from his son who looked so much like him.

There were two Brian Jones memorial shows - one at a racecourse near Cheltenham, I believe, around the same time and the one I went to which featured The Pretty Things and several others. I was taken by Noel Redding, who was a friend and backstage afterwards were Donovan and Marianne Faithfull. It was quite an occasion and I wish I'd had my camera.

1. Simon (Barry David) , born in 1959 to a 14-year-old Cheltenham schoolgirl named Valerie Corbet; the baby was adopted by other people

2. Belinda, born August 4, 1960 to a married woman named Angeline from Cheltenham

3. Julian Mark, born October 22, 1961 to Cheltenham girl Pat Andrews

4. Julian Brian, born July 23, 1964 to Windsor teenager Linda Lawrence

5. John (Paul Andrew), born March 24, 1965 to teenager Dawn Molloy; adopted by other people

6. Barbara, born 22 February 1969 to a married woman named Elizabeth from U.S.A


Apparently the youngest (Barbara) lives in Chicago and plays/played in a blues band. Anyone know the surnames of the daughters?

According to one of Brian's mothers relations (who is tracing his family history), Brian's father Lewis Blount Jones died in 2009.

Is England different than America? How can there by such mystery as to whether somebody died or not? Isn't that public record? Wouldn't it have been posted in whatever local newspaper there is in Cheltenham? Isn't he most likely buried in the same cemetery as Brian?
