They probably picked up the story from Expressen, who picked up the story in The Sun, who picked up the original interview from USA Today.

People are not realizing that in today's world...a news story from an "official" source or this website or that blog or whatever...means crap. Anything can be written whenever people want and with hardly the world blinking. People need to fill their pages with something...they'll build a story on a rumor be it factual or not. For people to gobble up every little news piece from all ends of the earth be it Sweden or some radio station in Detroit...it all doesn't matter. Unless we hear it straight from Jagger or Cohl's mouth--it's all worthless speculation.

SVT are pretty serious and reliable in general, but it seems like they picked up on this vague talk anyway. And they didn't elaborate on it at all.
