I saw Hot Tuna in Santa Barbara in '69-'70 sometime. I remember it as being a very nice show. Then around March of '99 I saw Jorma at Great American Music Hall in SF. It was a week or so before I saw Taylor there. It is funny with guitar players: I would not have recognized Jorma on the street, but then you see him on stage in a familiar playing posture, the way he holds his guitar, something you remember from much younger days. It is still there.
