10 minutes after a Stones concert finishing and spending another few minutes groveling around in the mud and finding the Pick I was looking for earlier in the night that Keith threw my way to add to the two I had already got that night..

Well, I'm with Bullfrog. My luckiest break also involves the missus. I'll tell you the story later on in this thread ....

In my life...

My band went on break & as I waited to order my drink, the cute girl standing the bar ordered exactly what I was getting. I married her three years later. So far, a marriage founded on vodka is working out ok.

The luckiest break I ever got BEFORE my life...
A couple of years before I was born, my dad was playing softball with my mother's school children (she was a high school teacher). Sliding into home plate, he broke his ankle. It took over a week for the swelling to go down far enough to put a cast on it. While he was still recovering, he got notice that his number came up and he was to report to his draft board for service. Although it was six months after his initial injury, his ankle was still swolen from the break and he was declared temporarily medically unable to serve. I was born a year or so later and his number never came up to be drafted again. Although I believe my dad still feels some guilt for not having served, we sometimes wonder what might have happened if he did... I wouldn't have been born when I was, that's for sure.

Another "nice" story involving meeting "missus" and I'm gonna throw up.

After graduating college, with no job, I attended my roommate’s wedding and met his Dad. After telling him of my job status over a few drinks, he offered me a job in his company where I trained in various computer programming languages. 35 years later, I’m still programming and still loving it.

Being at the right place at the right time.

....oh boy, this is getting awful....please nevermind Cindy and meself....

Walking up to the Box Office Window on concert night and scoring two tickets from the group the Stones themselves had just released. They keep certain tickets until they see they won't need them. Sat 17th row on the side of the stage with some Clear Channel executives and Bill Walton, the basketball player. Paid the same as people in the nosebleeds.

Still waiting for it.

Yes - sorry - got sidetracked!

Second luckiest would be getting tickets for Keith at the NY library last year.
