Hi All. Just wanted to let you know that I bought Let It Bleed: Rolling Stones, Altamont, and the End of the Sixties by Ethan A. Russell at Border's for $5.99. I've seen this book several times over the past couple of years and wanted it, but didn't want to pay $35.
It's a beautiful coffee table book, about 240 pages, with great photos I'd never seen before from the 1969 tour. There's a synopsis and photographs from every show on that tour. It ends with a substantial section on Altamont.
Anyway, just thought I'd let you know...definitely worth $5.99!

it's not at all borders -- the local one has it for 35 and the bargain books can vary from store to store, i was told.
