Sixties TV performances on official DVD?

I just bought the official TAMI Show DVD, now I wonder which other early TV performances are available officially on DVD samplers. Some Ed Sullivan Shows? What else? Anyone knows?

Some of the Ed Sullivans & Shindigs were available for a while, but I'm pretty sure they're now out of print.

Too bad Dave Clark is so tight - he owns all the RSG stuff and it's criminal that their archives haven't been in print since on VHS way back in the '80s.

I didn't know the RSG stuff was not on DVD.I grew up with that every Friday evening about 6 p.m.when it was on.Plenty of it with all the Stones stuff on youtube. It's nice to have it on a DVD though I must admit. winking smiley

I have the OFFICIALLY released DVDs of Hullabaloo (there were 3 editions). The second one, called Volumes 5-8, has the Stones appearance from November 15th, 1965, where they play 'She Said Yeah', and 'Get Off of My Cloud'. The tragedy of this appearance is that although it was shot in color, NBC re-used almost all of the Hullabaloo videotape, and all we are left with is a black and white kinescope. I do not believe these DVDs are still being manufactured.

I also own the two Music Scene DVDs, which have a couple promos from the Rolling Stones (Mick & Keith) circa 1969. The Stones never did appear on the show.

I also have the officially released box sets (2) of Ed Sullivan with Stones appearances. Other than that I can't think of any officially released Stones material on DVD.

Thank you 24FPS! That is the information I was looking for.

And I think in the 3 stones single boxes, the last one also has a DVD in it, no?
I should still buy these items before they go out of print.

Yes, the Stones Singles Box Set 1968-1971 has a bonus DVD, with Time on My Side from Sullivan, a live version of Have You Seen Your Mother (don't know the source, or if it's the promo film), the JJF promo film and Neptunes remix of Sympathy.

And, along those lines, the 40th Anniversary Get Yer Ya Yas Out had a bonus DVD with five cuts, but I think two of them are duplicative of bonus features on the Criterion Gimme Shelter DVD.

Don't forget this version of "the Stones in the Park" dvd, with 3 extra tracks (Mercy Mercy, Stray Cat Blues and No Expectations)!
