Is the interview in person or by telephone?

Ask him about his the refusal to allow him to travel to the US some years ago due to the terrorist watch list issues.

Ask if he plans to do any future tours in the USA.

Does he go by Cat Stevens again or Yusuf Islam?

You could ask him if he's grown out of his schoolgirl fetish...

"A lot of Englishmen have this thing about English schoolgirls... He took me to Marks & Spencer, and we went into the section where they sold school uniforms. We started play-acting and XXXX told the saleslady, 'I have to buy this little girl a school uniform, she's the daughter of one of my friends, can you fit her please?' Here was this 21-year-old kid with this however-the-hell-old-I-looked young girl. I was supposed to be going into seventh or eighth grade, but must have looked about 11.
Groupie: Patti D'Arbanville

Er, yeah - one connection, both he and Mick shagged Patti D'Abanville, Cat using the affair to get a great chart hit. Trivia note - the flute solo on the song is played by a young Peter Gabriel.

I'd like to know what he thought of Jimmy Cliff's cover of Wild World

He's using both, or at least the concert propoters. I remember seeing posters for his May gig here in Paris.

I would imagine he must have run into Brian Jones during 60s heyday in England.

"Lady D'Arbanville"

>Groupie: Patti D'Arbanville

Well, I wouldn't label her a "groupie" per se. She was discovered by the Warhol group at Max's Kansas City and cast by Paul Morrissey to appear in FLESH when she was only 17. She appeared in one more Morrissey/Warhol movie (L'AMOUR), had a child w/Don Johnson, and then went on to a pretty busy acting career:

Regarding "Wild World', the thing that makes a song sexist, is that it's impossible to imagine a person of the opposite sex singing it. I CAN imagine a woman singing "Under My Thumb". I CAN'T imagine a woman singing "Wild World". Ask him about that.

Very cool Hbwriter,
I would ask him who he approached the music for Harold and Maude, which is the blueprint for popular music used in films. Hardhitting, I know, but I love the man's music. I don't care about all the other stuff.

Yeah, Ask him what made him lose his mind and become a hard-core, woman-hating, jihadist apologizing, sharia law supporting muslim.

Inconsiderate, out of place post in this forum. You're insulting the artist with weak propaganda of the religious racism pattern. I am shocked to see such opinions expressed on this board.

Ask him what he thinks about the ground zero debacle...9-11-2001...NEVER FORGET

I strictly object to this racist post.

What's the artist to do with it?

Looks this post aims to stir racist political discussion.
