OT - American Idol's contestant would like to perform with the Stones

Alright, I know most of my fellow IORRers dislike that show, but I actually enjoy it, especially this year's contestant Paul McDonald who sang a great rendition of Maggie May last week.
He was asked by internet viewers who he would like to perform with and why.
His answer: "I'd love to perform with the Rolling Stones. They are a timelss band that has made such an impact on all of music."

i thought his maggie may was laughable. i like him as a stylist, but that was just downright awkward and embarrassing....very hard to watch and listen to.

I only watched ten minutes of one AMERICAN IDOL episode a few years ago and it was to see who the season winner was. And she wasn't that good a singer!
It reminded me of watching only ten minutes of one episode of AMERICA'S TOP MODEL, after which I shut it off thinking, "They've weeded out 100,000 applicants/girls and THIS group of 13 mediocre looking girls made the final cut?? Not one girl is attractive enough that I'd ever approach her with any romantic intent."
