"Wanna Hold You" on the original Undercover LP is a 3:12 edit of the longer 3:52 version used on the CD releases. Can anybody confirm if the LP edit is simply the longer CD track cut and faded to 3:12, in other words, with the last 0:40 edited off and faded at the end? Or did they get tricky and cut a verse out somewhere?

Ah-ha, as I suspected, thanks. 
Must now find an mp3 of the LP track without having to drag out and reconfigure my hi-fi equipment just to rip one track from my LP.

I remember that song well because it was the very first time I was disappointed with a track where Keith sang lead vocals.

Didn't realise there was a difference. Moved house a couple of years ago & some of my Stones vinyl went missing, including Undercover, so I can't compare unfortunately
