Is there a well written, well researched book extant about this band?

I don't know, but they were about the worst band I've ever seen. I think I'd rather sit through a Grateful Dead concert.

Cant comment on the quality as I havent read it and they're not a band I happen to follow that much but Mark Paytress - usually a good writer who contributes to 'Record Collector' I think - put out a book in 2003 called 'Siouxsie & the Banshees: The Authorised Biography'. Sanctuary are the publishers and the ISBN number is : 1860743757
