Had a rather bad day today, but this brought a smile to my face. I like the way Ronnie Lane takes the first verse before Rod comes charging in, and how Wood plays the McCartney "ooh" vocal parts on the guitar. Enjoy.

This is great. I remember first seeing it in pre-youtube years on a bootleg VHS of The Faces and really liking it. Wonderful performance!

Whew! What a voice! Great to see young Jimmy McColloch playing his heart out...great version from Wings Over America that was released as a single in 1977, 7 years after its debut on McCartney and went to no. 10 on the charts. Possibly one of Macca's most perfectly written songs!

Funny how Ronnie Lane flawlessly duplicates McCartney's voice and phrasing. And Rod Stewart's voice... man, this guy is blessed, really.

Anyone remember Ronnie saying before the Harlem Apollo gig before Christmas that he hoped Macca would play this song as it was his favourite.Bringing back some great memorys for him no doubt.
