kid rock gets knocked around on this board alot, but i think alot of the rock fans on this board would be fans of his if they/we weren't so damned old.

Being old had nothing to do with it dude. I am 45, I love a lot of new music, esepcially The Black Keys, Arcade Fire, Wolfmother. But Rock does not move me at all...accept to turn him off whenever he is on TV or the radio.

I saw Kid Rock open for Aerosmith 10 or 11 years ago and he was really good live. I like some of his songs as well i'd go see him again

Kid Rock's Birthday Bash was @#$%& awesome.

3 hours of live music with some cool special guests.
Sheryl Crowe, Uncle Kracker, Rev Run of Run DMC, Martina McBride, Anita Baker but best of all...Peter Wolf doing Detroit Breakdown!

Yes, folks, even the Stones made an appearance with a picture on the big screens, during a song entitled "I'm @#$%& Forty" or something like that. Video screen messages from most of the late night hosts, like Conan, Jay Leno, John Stewart, and Jimmy Kimmel. Plus Beavis and Butthead! Who cares how old you are, it was an event.
