the band was smokin and glad i saw them again before this hiatus. hopefully i can see chris or rich solo and this hiatus isn't too long. my guess is late 2012 they will announce they are looking at plans for 2013. a live album from this tour would be nice though. i really felt like i saw the best rock n roll band on the planet at this point in time. i imagine this is what it was like to see zz top, aerosmith, the rolling stones, etc 30+ years ago before the became corporate

I saw them back in September and agree with your assessment totally.

Regarding a live album of this tour, they are recording most, if not all of their shows and have them available on the web for purchase. If I'm not mistaken, you can actually download individual songs from specific shows, again for a price, as well. I haven't done it yet, but I do intend to buy the show we saw as it was my daughters first ever concert and, as you said, "the band was smokin".

They are a great live act no question, and you can just feel their love for the music when they start doing covers.

I've seen em twice and both shows were fantastic but that goes back many years ... would like to see them again soon.
