OT: Another crap top ten list of best front men . . .

When are people going to understand that Mick was the greatest front man. I'll be the first to say he has lost his magic, but from '69 to '81 there was no one better. (although I hate even debating stuff like this because its all subjective, and all in good fun) Although I do have to give koodos to Jimbo, as the article states it was either the greatest show you have ever witnessed or the worst (thats Rock'n'Roll!)

no Bruce?

What has Jagger lost since 1981?

Name any other front man of his calibre presently?

Bono?
Michael Stripe?

Who?

.. I'd cut that back. The cherry picker '81 tour was brutal. Jagger was still cool in 75 and 78 but on the 81 stadium tour? Not so much.

There was no front man better, ever, than Jagger from 69 to 73. Nor has there been any better, since.

no, there isn't ........ (a better front man than Jagger 69-73) and probably never will be; that was my point; that's pretty much the pinnacle of frontmen

although Gord Downie from Tragically Hip came close from 89-91

but Jagger in 81-82 was a cariacature of his former self, dude

the 81 tour was hugely profitable for the band but the performances and set lists, for me at least, were boring and not very interesting, considering what had come before it

Jagger didn't impress me on that tour, I found his grandstanding sort of embarrqassing, but if anything Keith did impress me; back, healthy, clean (relatively in Keith terms) and ready to fight

good gawd, LOOK at the clip they used! This alone cements Mick as the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time)
