Guitar Help: Acoustic ADTL

Hello all,
I am playing the acoustic version of ADTL (the one from the Let It Bleed sessions), in standard tuning G CD G.

It doesnt sound exactly right. Am I playing this correctly ?

ADTL = All Down The Line. Cafaro, I need to revisit this version to verify but as I recall it's in open G. I'll look at it this weekend and get back to you...

I think this guy comes close,but as I pointed out before,Keith playing is for 80% about the right hand. There is room for improvement in this "tutorial".

the vid on youtube of Sheryl Crow playing it on Jimmy Fallon's show, was in open G ...instructive.
pretty cool version. Open G !!

Hey all,
I played the acoustic version like I play the electric version in open G and it doesnt sound right. Played along with the recording and it just doesnt jive.
Anty thoughts?

Nope, that's not right for the LIB session version.
it's one tone up and starts off with A, E, D
frantic strumming and the typical hammer-on's in-between in open G.

I hope your version has the following in its name tag:
Rolling Stones_Bootleg_1969-00-00_Let It Bleed Sessions remastered_ALL DOWN THE LINE (acoustic)(correct speed)

Yes open-g.

i think you are right for the accoustic version. Electric version is more different

Yes Open-G....that is the right one! excuse my ignorance but what do you mean by
"it''s one tone up"?

It means one whole tone higher - or 2 frets, or 2 semi tones higher.
think of putting a capo on the 2nd fret - but you play the same finger patterns.
