Beloved IORRers -

My daughter Claire and I are in the throes of an essay competition to go to Antarctica to work with an animal behaviorist - experience of a lifetime especially for a kid who wants to go on to work with animals (Claire, not me!)

Voting is down to the last few days - we're close to making it into the top 5 for consideration - a good final push may get us there - voting is quick and easy and we'd REALLY appreciate any support - from you and any others you care to pass this on to - strength in numbers! William Stout, the artist who drew a lot of Stones' bootlegs covers back in the day, spent several months in Antarctica in the early nineties. He studied the wildlife and did paintings of the animals there. He's been working on a book based on his time in Antarctica, which is going to be titled "LOST CONTINENT-Modern and Prehistoric Life in Antarctica".

I'm going to vote for you Chris. Hope you & Claire have a fantastic trip.
