Will Mick want a Kennedy Center Honor now?

Now that McCartney is getting a Kennedy Center Honor [goldderby.latimes.com], will Mick try to wangle one for himself? It seems like Mick often gets jealous if McCartney gets something special and then he wants it too. Consider in the early '80s when Michael Jackson was at the height of his popularity and McCartney got to do a duet with him (Say Say Say). A little while later Mick did a duet with Jackson (State of Shock) also. And consider about 10 years when McCartney was knighted, it wasn't long before Mick was sporting the old ermine too. Mick might be thinking a KCH is something he'd like to have now too.

Doubt he'd get it without Keith. Though the Kennedy Center Honors have usually awarded individual artists in American music culture (jazz, pop, showtunes, classical, blues and country up to R&B/Motown), it started including folk and rock artists (Seeger '94, Dylan '97, Chuck Berry 2000) relatively recently. And while those have gone to 'solo artists/writers' (Paul Simon, Brian Wilson, Elton, Springsteen), we did see Townsend/Daltrey get a co-award even though Pete basically did all the writing. With a much more shared writing history in the Stones than The Who, I don't think Jagger could/would get one without Keith.
