Open Letter to The Stones: No concerts at Amsterdam Arena please

Hi,
This is a serious plead to the Stones :
Great to see you touring again, just great. Hope to see you in The Netherlands , but please please dont play the Amsterdam Arena !!
It is to huge and the sound is very very bad.!!! Please play De Feyenoord Kuip in Rotterdam or the Gelredome in Arnhem or Maliveld in The Hague.
Please guys, too many Dutch fans hate to go to the Amsterdam Arena because of the acoustic.
Good luck and good health on the next worldtour and see you there !!
One Love Jeroen

No way! The ArenA is fine if you're standing close enough to the speakers.

When the stones are coming, the Ziggo dome (15.000) will be ready, so let's do that!

When I was there in 2006, it sounded great but I have heard that if you are not up front (i was right up there in front of Ronnie) the sound is bad.

My advice? Get there early and get up front!

The sound in the front area is only acceptable, not perfect in my experience. Different seated places gave me a headache, soundwise. Indeed boys, I know the stadium is close to the Amstel Hotel, but please choose another stadium or another hotel if you mind travelling!

Let it rock!

While we're at it, please no more at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. I have already sworn that I will NEVER go there again after seeing U2 there last year.

It would be a sword in the heart to miss them in my own state, but I am sticking to my guns.

YUP - word to you mother!

I am not know for my willpower though, let's see if I follow through. Temptation will be too strong, but I know I will go and simply hate being there - I can't tell you how bad I hate that shithaven.

it explains the patriots' success there, i suppose...i think visiting teams must feel the same.

My suggestions for the next tour in Holland will be:

Stadium or large show:
- Beach of Scheveningen
- Malieveld, Den Haag
- De Kuip Rotterdam
- Goffertpark, Nijmegen

Smaller venues:
- Paradiso, Music Hall & Ziggodome in Amsterdam
- Vredenburg Utrecht
- Ahoy Rotterdam
- Paard van Troje Den Haag

And I defenitely agree for a boyot of the ArenA in Amsterdam. I´ve seen there too much shows with bad sound

The Rogers Centre in Toronto is one of the worst. You hear the sound then an echo a second later. Sometimes you can't even make out the song for a few seconds.

I certainly won't. 2006 was definately the last time, for any stadium concert for that matter.
