Yeah, it's a wonderful show. Wasn't this the debut of 'Nearness Of You'?
I have it lying about somewhere. Will have to dig it out.

No debut of Nearness. And I don´t agree, swedish as I am...There were better shows...and ONE guitarplayer (drunk) is not enough...But I´m glad you like it,1964!!! One mans meat is another mans poison, as Keith once said...

I was lucky to be there...beautiful city, and a damn great show!
One of the best of that tour in my opinion, and nearly as great as Vredenburg '03.
In general, the Licks tour was outstanding, full of great shows...stadiums/arena's/ theaters...
Hopefully the next tour (if there is one) will copy the blueprint for Licks,
but sadly, I don't think we'll ever see anything like that again from the Stones.

been one hell of a great live albums ever!
I got this bootleg in my mailbox yesterday and have been listening to it
a number of times. With the knowledge of the sound on the bootleg and the
great shape the Stones were on this ocassion it would have been great to have this concert released as an live album.

It's a great audience boot with some really nice performances. There are, however, as pointed out above, a few train wrecks mixed in. I would not say it's their best gig...

It seems strange that this was professionally filmed yet they chose the Paris show for the DVD. As much as I love the Paris DVD, this does seem like a much stronger performance overall.
